The epicentre of Asoloshire is the town of Montebelluna with its surrounding industries which include the cultivation of Prosecco originating from Valdobbiadene, shoe industries, world famous sports equipment industries, the production of spectacles, its numerous factory outlets and tourism just to mention a few.

It is a very wealthy part of Italy due to the many businesses (Diesel Group, Replay, Head, Alpinestars, Sidi, Scarpa, Benetton, myriad Prosecco companies etc.) but maintains its extremely affordable living.

This region is without doubt a very special area to live in, also with a temporate climate.

There are excellent hospitals, thermal spas in the vicinity, good schools and universities nearby, many sporting and outdoor activites including golf and good links to other parts of Italy with a new autoroute in construction linking this area to the main arteries of Italy.

From Montebelluna’s central station with its ample free parking one can be transported by train or bus to many interesting and historical locations, to the seaside and the mountains within an hour or two.

To name just a few:

  • Treviso with its lovely canals;
  • Padua with its world famous University, the Basilica of Saint Anthony and Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel;
